Nicolas Insixiengmay is an accomplished international corporate executive and supply chain specialist currently serving as the Executive Director and Head of Strategic Sourcing & Workplace for APAC & Middle East at Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking. As a French-born Chinese professional, he possesses a unique bi-cultural background that enables him to navigate complex corporate environments with ease. Over a multi-decade career, he has built an impressive reputation for managing massive multi-million dollar portfolios and modernizing operational frameworks across Europe and the Asia-Pacific region.
Insixiengmay established a rigorous academic foundation by earning a Bachelor's degree from Sun Yat-Sen University, followed by a Master’s degree in Purchasing from IAE Lyon (Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3). He holds some of the highest professional distinctions in his field, including being a Chartered Procurement Professional (MCIPS), a Project Management Professional (PMP), and a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB).
His early career saw him managing strategic logistics and supplier networks for major global enterprises, including serving as a Buyer for Genzyme and Alstom Transport. He soon transitioned into regional management, acting as the Country Indirect Sourcing Manager for the Alstom Group in Singapore before moving to Hong Kong to take up a leadership role as Corporate Purchasing Manager for Dragages Hong Kong Ltd. Insixiengmay’s ability to orchestrate high-value commercial transactions became prominently visible during his tenure as the Purchasing Director at Ferrero, where he spearheaded a €300 million plus spend portfolio across the Far East covering toys, manufacturing molds, and co-packing networks.
Before taking his current role at Natixis, Insixiengmay brought his procurement expertise to the energy sector as the Principal Manager of Commercial & Supply Chain at CLP Power Hong Kong. At CLP, he led a 13-person specialist team overseeing a massive $300 million corporate spend. His leadership within the regional industry has extended into community governance, notably through his service on the Board of Directors for the Institute for Supply Management (ISM Hong Kong). His work continues to center on transforming real estate portfolios and integrating advanced corporate procurement systems to optimize cross-functional team productivity.
